Packet: This packet contains:  1 student activity booklet, 1 lesson plan, 1 poster, and 1 parent guide.  It is helpful to use it for preview purposes.  You only need to purchase one packet whether you are using it with one student or in a classroom or youth group setting.   Each teacherlesson plan is suitable for classroom use in schools, camps, youth groups, and in faith-based institutions.  Teachers can be school teachers, counselors, youth leaders, parents, or other adults interested in teaching children important character attributes. Once you decide to implement, order sufficient quantities of the materials below for each of your students:

  • Student Activity Leaflet:  Even children living in the best homes, in the best school districts, and safest communities experience daily stress.  Some children, based on their personality, experience event more.  The newsletter, “Survival”, teaches children how their bodies are built to survive and the importance of stress management.  Using vibrant images, this newsletter includes lessons from famous teachers about stress management and includes activities for the child to complete.   The student activity booklet is four pages printed on card stock.
  • Parent Guides:  Parent guides are used in several ways.  In the classroom, teachers send home the guides when the class begins the “Survival” lesson.  Parents are encouraged to implement some activities at home to reinforce the concept of survival.
